Cost Of Services

Providing the best medical care for patients will always be our top priority. However, there is always cost involved, and nobody ever wants to talk about the cost of medical services. That’s why we think it is so important to be transparent about our process and our pricing.

We built this practice the way that we did precisely to get away from the painful financial surprises and resulting damage to trust that we are all - patients, doctors, and caregivers - too familiar with.

Since MPH is an independent practice and not a hospital or hospital-owned, cost for our services is significantly less than in those traditional settings. For example, a complete echocardiogram at a hospital facility can be more than 5 times the cost of the same procedure at MPH ($2000 vs. $400). That’s a significant difference in cost that has nothing to do with the quality of testing. At MPH our processes, technology, and execution are equal to or exceed what is provided elsewhere. Those systems just run on a different financial model.

We accept most insurances available in the area, and our team will help you determine your expected financial responsibility prior to your visit. Any copays or deductible amounts owed as patient responsibility are collected at time of service.
